Overview

The eufyMake E1 UV Printer is a compact A3-class piezo inkjet UV printer for direct-to-object customization, raised 3D texture, rotary printing and UV DTF workflows. It is not an FDM or resin 3D printer: it deposits and UV-cures ink onto a finished substrate.

The built-in flatbed provides a 330 × 420 mm printing area at up to 1440 DPI. eufyMake's Amass3D process can build raised ink textures up to 5 mm high, making the E1 useful for embossed graphics, tactile artwork, dimensional branding, and decorative relief.

An 8 MP camera and dual laser sensors assist with object positioning and height measurement. The official specification lists an automatic height-adjustment range of ±0.5 mm, a maximum supported flatbed load of 1.5 kg, Wi-Fi connectivity and JetClean automatic self-cleaning.

The standard ink profile is CMYK + White + Gloss (CMYKWG). eufyMake also offers flexible white ink for selected softer substrates. The manufacturer advertises compatibility with more than 300 materials, including acrylic, wood, metal, glass, ceramic, stone, leather, canvas, fabric, film and plastics.

Technical Specifications

eufyMake does not currently publish one standardized print-speed figure that can be compared fairly across flat color, white ink, gloss, texture, rotary and transfer workflows.

Direct-to-Object Printing

The E1 prints directly onto products placed on the flatbed rather than manufacturing the object itself. Typical applications include acrylic signs, wooden plaques, metal tags, ceramic tiles, phone cases, glass products, leather goods, packaging and promotional items.

UV adhesion varies by substrate. Surface coatings, contamination, gloss, flexibility and chemistry all affect bond strength, so production users should test the exact blank for adhesion, abrasion, cleaning and outdoor exposure before selling finished products.

Amass3D Raised Texture

Amass3D repeatedly deposits and cures ink to create relief up to 5 mm.

Useful applications include raised logos, brush-stroke effects, embossed-style labels, tactile graphics, decorative medallions and dimensional product branding.

The 5 mm value is a maximum manufacturer specification. Taller relief generally increases print time and white/gloss ink consumption, so texture height is also a production-cost decision.

Ink, White and Gloss

The standard E1 profile uses:

• Gloss/varnish

White ink provides an opaque underbase on dark or transparent objects. Gloss can add selective shine, protection or layered decorative effects.

eufyMake also offers flexible white ink for selected softer materials such as canvas, leather, fabric patches and similar substrates. This expands the workflow but does not make E1 a dedicated DTG production printer.

JetClean and Maintenance

JetClean automates routine cleaning and printhead maintenance, reducing the manual maintenance burden associated with many traditional UV systems.

It does not make the printer maintenance-free. UV printing still depends on fresh ink, cleaning cartridges, correct idle procedures, clean substrates and suitable environmental conditions.

Proprietary ink and cleaning consumables should be included when estimating business operating costs.

Automatic Positioning

An 8 MP camera and dual laser sensors help locate objects and measure height. eufyMake publishes an automatic height-adjustment range of ±0.5 mm.

Camera-assisted positioning is useful for irregular products and one-off items. Jigs remain valuable for repeat production because they improve loading consistency and throughput.

Rotary Printing

The optional eufyMake Rotary Printing Attachment supports cylindrical and conical products such as tumblers, mugs, bottles, and cups.

The rotary workflow includes automatic leveling assistance. Object diameter, taper, handles, coating and adhesion still need to be checked before production runs.

UV DTF and Roll-to-Film

UV DTF is useful for irregular products that are difficult to place directly on the flatbed. The E1 prints onto compatible transfer film, and a laminating workflow prepares the adhesive graphic for application.

The optional Roll-to-Film Attachment extends production beyond the 420 mm flatbed length. eufyMake advertises jobs up to 10 meters for stickers, signs, posters and transfer-film workflows.

As of August 2026, eufyMake says Roll-to-Film shipments begin near the end of August and continue through September, so that accessory is still in its initial rollout.

This is a broad compatibility claim, not 300 guaranteed production recipes. Primer, surface preparation or a different ink mode may be necessary on difficult substrates.

Safety and Working Environment

UV printing uses liquid photopolymer inks and integrated UV curing. Users should follow the current ink SDS, avoid uncured ink contact, maintain suitable ventilation and keep the printer within its recommended temperature and humidity range.

The E1 specification lists UV-light blocking above 90% under sealed test conditions. This does not replace normal operating and maintenance precautions.

The eufyMake E1 vs xTool O1 Omni comparison is the closest current consumer UV-printer matchup.

The xTool O1 Omni Printer uses the same 330 × 420 mm standard area, publishes 720 × 1440 DPI resolution and supports up to 7 mm embossing.

xTool offers Single UV, Dual UV, and UV + direct-textile editions. Depending on configuration, O1 can combine UV, UV DTF, DTG and DTF workflows.

E1 focuses more tightly on direct-to-object UV, 5 mm texture, rotary printing and UV DTF. It also offers 1440 DPI, JetClean and camera/laser positioning and is already shipping.

The indexed HeyGears G1X Full-3D Pack is a broader hybrid system.

G1X combines UV flatbed decoration with full-color 3D material jetting, transparent 3D material and water-soluble supports. Its UV mode reaches up to 1440 × 2400 DPI.

E1 is the simpler and lower-cost option for personalized products, signs, tumblers, UV DTF and raised surface texture.

Choose G1X when true full-color volumetric 3D parts and UV flatbed work need to share one machine.

eufyMake E1 vs Roland VersaSTUDIO BD-8

The Roland VersaSTUDIO BD-8 has a smaller 210 × 148 mm print area but supports objects up to 102 mm thick and 3 kg, with resolution up to 1440 DPI.

Choose E1 for a much larger print area, lower entry price, 5 mm texture and creator-oriented automation.

Choose BD-8 when professional service infrastructure, commercial RIP software and heavier/taller object capacity matter more than purchase cost.

The Procolored V11 Pro provides a 287 × 420 mm print area, 720 × 1440 DPI, up to 140 mm object height and dual TX800 printheads.

It uses white-ink circulation, automatic printhead cleaning and dedicated varnish channels. UV DTF sticker production is available with an additional laminator.

The V11 Pro weighs about 70 kg, uses Windows-only Pro RIP software and currently lists around US$5,999 before accessories.

Choose E1 for lower entry cost, a wider 330 mm print area, 5 mm texture, automated camera/laser positioning and a more consumer-oriented workflow.

Choose V11 Pro when 140 mm object clearance, dual printheads, and conventional RIP-based production are higher priorities.

Limitations and Practical Considerations

• E1 is a UV object printer, not a conventional FDM/resin 3D printer.
